Historic Broadlind Building in DT Long Beach Will Become Hotel Again

The 1928 Italian Renaissance-style Broadlind Building is returning to its roots as hotel. The hotel was originally built as part of the late 1920’s hotel boom in Long Beach and catered to naval officers at the former local Navy base. The Broadlind was eventually converted to apartments and office space, but now a group of enterprising hoteliers are joining the hotel building boom taking place all over Southern California. The group intend to offer 20 apartment like hotel suites in the building.

“Each room will boast a fully remodeled kitchen, private bath, business center, and laundry area.”

The developers are hoping for full hotel approval later this summer.
